Two steps
1. Download the membership form — nippers use the nipper application form — fill it in and sign it. Joining as a lifesaver or a nipper? Download and sign the indemnity form too.
2. Choose your membership below, attach the signed form (and the indemnity if you need one) and pay.
Proof of identity goes with the application: nippers attach the child's birth certificate, members attach a copy of their ID (under 16, a birth certificate). Uploads are held by Shopify for the club office and used only to process your membership — see the privacy policy. Lockers and racks are subject to availability: ask for one in the form and pay at the office. Access tags, cards and bands for the clubhouse are available from the office.

Junior (14 to 19) or Senior (19 and over) lifesaver with a current lifeguard award. Full use of the clubhouse, change rooms and the garage. Attach your completed, signed membership form and the signed indemnity form when you apply.
R 4,500New Lifeguard Award
For new lifeguards: the Lifeguard Award course and your first season as a lifesaving member. Subject to a place on the course; the club confirms your date. Attach your completed, signed membership form and the signed indemnity form when you apply.

Access to the change rooms and the garage, and the membership you need to have a surfboard rack or a locker. Attach your completed, signed membership form when you apply.
R 1,300Country member (more than 60 km away)
For members living more than 60 km from the club. Attach your completed, signed membership form when you apply.
R 800Over 65 years
Membership for members aged 65 and over. Attach your completed, signed membership form when you apply.
R 1,600Coffee Club membership
Access upstairs only, through the main entrance to the Coffee Club. Attach your completed, signed membership form when you apply.
Lockers, board racks and ski racks are allocated by the equipment officer when one is free — ask in the form and pay at the office. Access tags, cards and bands are available from the office.
